I have chosen to use my living room at my house because it needed to be somewhere that fit simillarly with the aethetics of the closet room with the cupboard that she would be stuck in. It works brilliantly because it is just a plain sofa with a table next to it for his ashtray and to put his beer on.
This house has the perfect cupboard for the film, it is small with not a lot of room, there is only a lock on one side of the cupboard door and there is enough room in there to make the shrine and put a desk for his laptop, while he sits there looking at her pages. You can also create some good camera angles in there as well.
Luckily having someone we knew with a lake in thier back garden made it easier for us to film the scene where he dumps the body. There will be barely any background sound and will be dark so will only be able to see what from his headlights which could look quite interesting. The sprinklet will be turned off for filming.
We asked a few people we knew if they had a really girly bedroom, but that wasnt what we were looking for. We wanted a feminine look but the girl is in her late teens. so we just wanted pink walls of some sort, and this bedroom is quite spacious so we decided on this room. The en-suite bathroom was an extra that wasnt expected, but works really well for one of the scenes.
This park has a scene that i have pictured for quite i while, so will be using that as where he hits the boyfriend and takes the girl, especially in autumn it will look visually pleasing in the outcome. lighting is the only possible issue but we have artificial one that we can use. Hopefully there wont be too many people around at this time so there are no interuptions.
