Radial Analysis of Posters

Still inkeeping with the blue colour scheme but the corporate logos are in a darker blue showing their further importance to the overall poster.

The importance of the reviews incourage the viewers to watch as it's rated highlighly. It also gives the connotations of a high quality film.

The ripped wallpaper presents a shred of baby pink, having the connotations of female overpowerment of the males. Giving an idea to a slight insight onto what the film involves and what the main character has to over come to achieve her said goals.

Graduation of the blue, in the title connotating that the female characters are empowering themselves. The ripped wallpaper exposing the baby pink, further connotes that the females are in power.

The lighting transistions from darker to light, connoting the ideals that she's escaping her former darker life in which was mixed with alcohol, drugs and a bad crowd to be 'friends' with.

The mise en scene creating ideals with the large hoop earings, gold jewlery connotes that she has the sterotypical outlook as a 'chav' with primarily only these items.

The run down walls reflect onto how the real estate and the main characters surroundings are. Graffti is featured as it's a  main asthetic to the estate surroundings and it's a frequent characteristic to a estate.

The overall effect the auidence gains from the poster is that the main character is from a 'rough' and run down estate as exampled from the peeling wallpaper and her costume. As the film is ultimately about a female character who is from a hard family, in which many viewes can relate themselves to. Mia who is the lead female, is on the verge of being expelled from school, her mother is disreguarded as a party-hard character and her younger sister is friends with the wrong friend group. Both daughters being neglected by their mother, as she values parties and her own welfare rather than her children's. Suddenly Connor played by (Michael Fassbender), a new male character makes an appearance into Mia and her sister's lives.
